Before you book tree work
Are you fully insured?
Yes. RIAI Tree Surgeons are fully insured and NPTC qualified, with tickets covering cross-cutting and stacking, large-tree felling, climbing, cutting from rope and harness, and aerial rescue.
Do I need permission to remove or prune a tree?
Some trees are protected by a Tree Preservation Order or are within a conservation area, so council permission may be required before work begins. Customers will often already know if a restriction applies, but it is always worth checking with the local authority before booking work.
Will you remove the branches and waste?
Yes. We normally remove the branches, logs and waste and leave the property spotless. Wood can be left behind when the customer would like to keep it.
Can you work near houses, sheds or fences?
Yes, subject to a site assessment. Trees in confined spaces are normally dismantled in controlled sections to protect nearby property and manage access safely.
